Find your power steering line and follow the hose, listen for an air leak or if your lucky fluid will spill out. have someone turn the wheel back and forth with the car on while you look.

I found the pwr str fluid leak.
Its coming from where the lower intermediate steering column connects to the top of the Power Rack and Pinion Unit.
Every time I wipe off the pwr str fluid it starts seeping back out from the shaft and slowly flows down and gathers up on top of the of the seal itself.
I bought the seal kit so I'm ready to go to work.
Can this job be done without having to take out the Rack and Pinion unit itself.
Can I just remove the shaft above it , remove the old seal and put the new one in.
Thanks for your help with this !!
