Owning a Lincoln is for people pursuing the American Dream. That's the message of a new series of Lincoln advertising and marketing initiatives that will build on the sales success of the Lincoln Mark LT and Zephyr, and prepare the way for four new products launching this year.

Personally, I'm excited about Lincoln's new products. However, the brand REALLY needs to replace the Town Car. Folks are growing up and old used to 7-Series, A8 and LS, not their grandparents' boats.  

American car companies have been confusing the words "new" and "innovative" for years. Just because their car line is new for 07, I have doubts that it is innovative at all. I am willing to be that a large portion of their new showroom is going to be filled with two or three year old ford products with more chrome.

This whole thing is remarkably similar to the"Not Your Father's Oldsmobile" strategy used in the 90s and we all know how well that went.  

i think the town car is still made along with the crown vic because of taxis, limos cop cars and thats about it , thats probably the reason they havent updated, because they know they can always sell tho those businesses

That's true. Also, I think folks who buy such vehicles really don't want much change in them.
