is it a regular needle type gauge? if it is, you can simply open the gauge cluster, remove the needle, and re-install it in at the right level. i had my gauge cluster apart in my old car and put the needle too high by accident. so i thought i had more gas than i really did, i figured out it was wrong when i ran out of gas, lol

There is a way to adjust the needle approximately + or - 1 deviation without distmantling the cluster. This is what I am inquiring about.
