I have a 1998 Toyota sienna LE with 89k miles. When I drive over 55mph the van starts to shake and rattle starting from the back and transfers to the front. All the seats shake as well. I had the wheels balanced twice and their good. I had the rear frame bushings replaced because the rubber was cracked. I took 4 wheels from my friends Sienna to check if it’s the rims or tires and it still shakes with his wheels. The mechanic does not know what to do next.
Any suggestion?

could also be unbalanced tires. if they were recently rotated or installed, they may not have been balanced/rebalanced. does the steering wheel shake?

The tires where balanced twice this week. the steering wheel does not shake. the shaking starts in the rear and if i keep up the speed it will shake the whole van but it starts in the rear.

In addition to what I previously wrote you could have uneven wear on your tires, cupped tires, etc.

I agree with auto jtm that symptom can be caused by cups or lumps and especially separated treads or dry rotted tires.

Thank you all for you input. I have resolved the issue. The rear drums where worped, so I had it changed for Wagner drums and the problem is gone!
Thanks you all for your help,
