When I was 17 yrs old I got my first job working for McDonalds. I bought a red 1983 Ford Escort. I don't know what I hated worse my car or my job. Everyone laughed just like you are now but I did put a kick *** stereo in it.
One night I rolled it into a ditch on my way to my girlfriend's house. ( My good looks made up for the crappy car and not haveing any money)
I got out. (Stereo still playing) rolled it back over then I proceeded on my way. After smelling fuel in it for two weeks afterward I finally got rid of it.

A 4 dr 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 was my first vehicle. Got it for $200.00 in 1976 and got over 30,000 more miles out it before it died at 180,000 miles. It looked something like this.

My first car was a 1978 Toyota Corona!, it was given down to me by my oldest brother(my middle brother did not want it). I was 16 and that car to me was a ferrari.
I remember it was rear wheel drive and I spun out on a wet road a couple of times in that old car. Ounce the muffler fell off and people were laughing because it sounded like a garbage truck. My dad had initially bought it at $1000 and I sold it for $900 six years after he bought it. not a bad deal.

Learned in a red '79 Cutlass, drove to high school in an orange '78 Cherokee, and later owned the tan '76 Maverick with five working cylinders.

My first car that was actually mine and not a shared family car, was a 1981 BMW 5-Series. Man that thing was smaller than today's 3-series by far. It had no powering steering, but I liked it. Had a peppy, but relatively weak engine. I put a Sebring exhaust on it, man it was loud. I blew up the engine one night, I think it ran out of motor oil, doh. The first car I actually was driving though was an '87 Acura Legend, our family car. Eventually it became mine. I got all stupid with it trying to mod it & stuff. Hey I'm STILL driving that car today.

LOVED MY FIRST CAR AND IT WAS MADE IN THE USA AND WHEN I GOT OLDER I GOT A JOB IN THE CAR PLANT  AND STILL LOVE IT// LOVE THOSE CARS MADE IN THE USA

my first car was a 1989 Plymouth Horizon. basically the same thing as a Dodge Omni.  It was such an awesome little car.  It never gave me any problems at all.  I had to get rid of it when pittsburgh weather got the best of it and rusted out the frame. ouch.  I miss that car alot

My first car was a 2000 Toyota Camry XLE V6. I always had a hard time explaining how my Camry is not like the other Camrys on the street because it had a V6 and some leather... But they were right, it was still a Camry. It was a very reliable and quiet car. However that car does not provide any driving pleasure nor traction.

I guess im lucky my first car was when i got my permit a 2005 pontiac grand prix but when i got my license i sold it for a 99 Northstar V8 Cadillac El Dorado it is still one of  the most comfortable cars on the road. And it made me feal 30 years older. Got it cheap to with only 30000 miles on it and the leather cleaner tags where still strung from the seats because of its rare use in the hands of a old timer. Got her for 8k really good deal.

Hmm, well my first car was with me not to long ago. I got a used 1997 BMW 328i for my 16th bday and man did I work it. It already came with around 87 thousand miles but by the time I was done with it, I added about 80 thousand more in only two or three years. I had some fond memories in that car.
