Lately I am having strange problem with AC in my car 1996 Nissan200SX SER 2.0L.

When outside temperature is just about above 80F my car AC doesn’t blow cool air at all but works fine at lower temperatures.  I changed coolant and thermostat thinking that its not effective in cooling, but didn't work.  When I run my car at 60 mph for half hour AC starts working normally.
I also checked radiator and cooling fan both works fine when engine gets hot or when AC is working normally.  But when AC blows only hot air both fans also don't run. Checked freon pressure its OK.

Is someone having same problem or can help.

This is kind of weird, at least to  me,  I would think that since your fans don’t work at higher temps is why your ac isn’t blowing cold.  I cant real saying anything with any certainty, but maybe a faulty ect sensor. Does your car have any other symptoms?

The AC compressor may not be engaging intermittantly. The fan should come on when the compressor engages. When the car is acting up, look at the compressor and see if the front of it is turning, if it is, the problem is with the fan. If it's not turning the problem is with the ac.
