The Infiniti is an intriguing choice. However, I think it would be best to wait for the release of the 2007 G35 Coupe, it looks swell. I think the G35 is the best choice, if nothing else it looks seriously good and the sound emitted from those two exhaust pipes is very well developed.

i have made a final list: 1. Nissan Skyline R33 (have an asin buddy who can import me one with the total cost about 27k. 2. pontiac GTO 3. honda S2000 4. My buddies RSX type S for 20k, and put a turbo in it, bout 300fwh
Almost list Corvette C5: transmission blows...(manual) Evo 8 or 9 MR: noob car... makes you feel fast, and when you get into a real sports car, you crash cause of how much you blow... G35 coupe: great ccar, great everything, just more luxery than sports, dont argue with me about it, i will not reply. (high G35 coupe=base 350Z in performance, and i want to own my bros track 350...) RX-8 i love the car, just a bit too slow, and i feel horrible that its not in the top list... ![]() STI: gayest car ever

all of those top 4 cars are completely different types of car. AWD turbo, big heavy american muscle, light weight torqe-less roadster, and front wheel drive honda.
im sure you can physically bring a GT-R to america, but you wont be able to register it, or even drive it without getting it impounded and crushed. especially in CA

you kinda took a scatter shot with the choices there, i dont think you have any idea of what you want, and explain to me how an rsx with a bunch of aftermarket parts is better than an evo or an sti, and the "gayest car" thing, thats a real big boy reply isnt it

You are such a moron. Don't bother buying a nice car because you don't know anything about cars.

Finally a site that bashes the peace of crap G35.. I am glad I found a site with such insightful posts.
Like Cookie Monster 5000 g35, just a tad bit too fed up with luxery
Yeah Luxery sucks!!! who needs all the soft leather and safety options.. Real men need 400+ ponies and the cabin with no more features than a Geo Metro. If we need a cup holder for our beer real men will chop down 200 year old oak and make one!!!
And like automotivedp the g35 would disappoint if your looking at the previous 2 cars and since your bro has a Z…. The other two being the rx8 and s2000
Yeah the rx-8 is cheaper but don’t look at the fact that the g35 is
2.8 faster in the Slalom 1.43sec faster 0-60 and still pulling away at the 1/4 ahead by 1.55
The s2000 not even in the same class who needs space for a set of golf clubs and the z same car without a back seat takes “that rocks” because we are to cool for friends
Now we move on to AutomotiveJC post
G35 is really the ultimate poser machine. It seems like it has everything: performance, luxury, and the looks. It does! Just all half-assed that's all.
H3LL Yeah!! you would think if we were going to buy a Infiniti we would get everything for 35k… it should be equipped like BMW M3 What were they thinking building a well balanced auto for 35k.

Not sure how old you are and what your plans are as far as the type of driving you do...I'm 41, I have a son. I'm a single dad. I grew up in the "Muscle Car" era and frankly..they were heavy cars that couldn't turn (without some major wrenching). I like your choices but for me, and my needs...I like the GTO. I will be getting one in about 3 months or so. Sure there are faster cars...but I like a reletively smooth ride, nicely appointed interior, adequate cornering, and a good beefy motor that you don't need to keep the revs up for power. I'm not a big fan of a tweaked out little four banger that relies on some sort of forced induction for its power. I would love to road race or compete somehow but it's a pipe dream. I used to road race a CBR600 back in the day...but for now it's mostly going to work on the freeway and taking my son to wrestling practice. For that type of driving, which is mostly straightline stuff... I like the big American V8. Get the 6spd manual so you don't have to pay the gas-guzzler tax... :-)

if you plan to work on your car yourself, then your have a hard time doing it yourself on an rx-8. It incorporates a boxer-style engine, meaning that the pistons fire horizontally, not vertically- like in your traditional vehicle. This makes even changing your spark plugs and wires a weekend task!! If you got the time and patience.......
