Hello, I have a 1988 Dodge Grand Caravan SE with the Mitsubishi 3.0l v6 engine. Last night when I was driving home, I was coasting then came to a stop at a stop sign, when I tried to go again, I noticed my car had stalled. The oil pressure, gas, and battery levels all look fine.
When I try to start the engine, it stuggles more than normal, but will start up. Once it starts, it runs normal for maybe a few seconds before I notice the revs drop and it starts to struggle then stall out(all while in park). If I try to use my gas pedal while it is running, it seems to prevent it from stalling, but it does not raise the revs, it just makes an odd shuddering type noise when I let off the gas, and stalls out again. So my guess it has something to do with my fuel delivery system(Fuel injected, not carbed). Do you guys have any idea what this could be, I want to get a general idea of how much it is going to cost before I decide to tow it to a mechanic because if it is too much of a fix, then I will just scrap it. Thanks.

it could be a fuel problem. Like I have suggested a million times before, unplug your maf or map sensor (I dont know which one your car uses) and see how it idles. It could also be a bad fuel pump or a clogged iac valve.. the list can go on but start with you maf/map sensor.
