I purchased a new honda Pilot last month the LX version, beware buyers they are selling you this car that already has a known problem with it and they are "working" on finding a fix for the problem. The car makes a low barotone noise out of the blue and will keep doing for quiet sometime, sometimes every 10 minutes or less. I was explained that it is the engine switching from the 6 cylinder to 3 cylinder mode it vibrates through the car and speakers. It has a temporary fix they are going to do tomorrow. And they say California knows about it and are working on a fix to solve this problem. It has horrible road noise on the interstate too. If I had known this problem existed I would not have purchased the vehicle. They knew exactly what the problem was when I called and confirmed it with a technician and I going out on a test drive. I think it is horrible they can lead you astray with this and still sell the vehicle. All I can say is buyer beware.
