I bought a new 2003 Nissan Pathfinder SE in 2003. I was so impressed with this vehicle after driving my friend's Pathfinder LE from Mammoth to Long Beach. I like it because it has an agile yet sturdy feel to it and still retains it's truck-like former identity. Ultimately, the price and the features offered really gave me incentive to buy this over the Toyota 4Runner (true, it's only been 2 years). I highly recommend the Pathfinder, although I would upgrade to a hybrid version if they had one (2003 Pathfinder Fuel Economy isn't the greatest = 15/19). http://www.automotive.com/2003/12/nissan/pathfinder/reviews/

I bought myself an '05 Ford Mustang GT V8. I love the throwback style and couldn't resist upping the buy to get the extra power.

I am driving a 1995 Ford Aspire.... made by Kia in Korea and better known as the Ford Festiva before its re-skin in 1994. I have 115k mostly trouble-free miles on it, but after 10 years in that, I'm ready for something new and plan to buy this fall (after my wife starts her teaching job).
I want a hatchback with AT and lots of pretty things (a/c, pwr locks/windows, cruise, etc.) I've test driven several cars including Ford Focus, Chevy Aveo, Scion xA, Suzuki Reno & Aerio, Hyundai Elantra & Kia Spectra5. Right now, my pick is the Reno, the hatchback version of the Suzuki Forenza. It doesn't get the best mileage and on paper is underpowered, but it seemed pretty peppy when I drove it (maybe gearing is the reason for all that?) and had the smoothest ride and nicest interior of the cars I've driven. And while it is not gaudy, it is distinctive since there aren't many of them on the road.
Unfortunately, I have another couple of months at least before I can get it...

I currently drive a 1999 Nissan Altima GXE. It is a gorgeous steel-blue color. It has over 122,000 miles on it; and still going strong. I want my next car to be an Altima. If not, then I will settle for a Hyundai Accent; great gas mileage and warranty.

The Aspire is no more.
In October I bought a 2005 Hyundai Elantra 5-door. In the end, I couldn't make myself by a Daewoo sold by a Suzuki dealership (the Reno). The Elantra has been great so far- plenty of room, nice and quiet and smooth, runs flawlessly (which one would expect with a brand-new car of course). My biggest complaint in the car's design is the way it rolls in turns, but I've reduced that considerably by replacing the stock 13 mm sway bar with a 19 mm sway bar from the 2003 Hyundai Tiburon GT. The two parts are identical except for diameter, so for a little over $100, problem solved.

99 Caddilac El Dorado 2 door coupe with the Northstar V8 with one of the best interiors of its day. I love it because its so expensive looking but at the same time is one of the highest quality american vehicles of it's time.
