I have noticed that people will post their problem in multiple sections of the Maintenance and Repair forums (a.k.a. "reposts"). Your questions will be seen just as many times if only posted in one section as i'm sure that most people who look in the Maintenance and Repair forums, look at all sections (auto maintenance, engine, transmission, etc.)
Thanks. John

I have a 1990 Dodge Caravan with the 3.0 engine. It is very hard starting most of the time. You have to crank the engine over and when it starts it runs like it is flooded until it clears. After that the engine runs fine. Luckily I have a good battery and can crank it to start. I am wondering about the fuel pressure regulator. Has anybody experienced this? Does anyone have a quick check for this?

well if the engine is not over heating ...then it might be the thermostat ..if thats bad then the fan wont come on at the right time ....unless you dont have an electric fan...but that might be most likly the problem

I have a 1995 Nissan Altima with 128k mi. and hesitates when accelerating, especially when it is cold, one it warms up, it seems to be o.k. Recently, the fuel pump and fuel filter have been replaced as well as a tune up consisting of spark plugs, rotor, cap and wires, but to no avail. I get two errors on the check engine light. One is a knock sensor error and the other being an EGR error. Could any of these two cause a this hesitation? I understand that the knock sensor advances/retards the timing. Lastly, where is the anti-knock sensor located and what should the resistance be?

I have a 1991 Jeep Engine that I recently blew a rod through the engine block, I recently bought a 1991 engine for the jeep, but the engine is automatic. My jeep has a standard engine. I want to make the automatic engine work. the pilot bearing in the standard engine does not fit into the automatic engine because they were not made to be converted. I believe that it is possible. Anyone have any ideas? Plus has anybody ordered from this site ? Probably the best place for OEM Jeep Parts.

I am working on a 1982 BMW 528e. Vehicle has a "no pulse" condition in the ignition system. Ignition Coil and Computer have been checked and both are serviceable. Is there another component that could be causing this? Where is the crank position sensor?

Have you checked your "mas airflow sensor"?
my friend has a 1999 F-150 with a 4.6L V8 and it was having problems ideling and was doing the same thing that your truck seems to be doing.he changed his MAS airflow sensor and it solved that problem.
