I have noticed that people will post their problem in multiple sections of the Maintenance and Repair forums (a.k.a. "reposts").  Your questions will be seen just as many times if only posted in one section as i'm sure that most people who look in the Maintenance and Repair forums, look at all sections (auto maintenance, engine, transmission, etc.)

Thanks.

I have a Jeep Cherokee 4.0L Auto. Last night just after I filled up with petrol it wouldn't start. It just wouldnt start. I turn the key and nothing happens. The ''parking '' and ''!'' sign comes on along with ABS. My oil pressure indicator shows ''0''. I opened the hood checked the oil levels and then after some time all of a sudden it started. Today again it started twice and then it just wouldn't start. I am afraid to take it out incase it wouldn't start after I stop. I have tried all day and it refuses to start.Topped up the engine oil, but still no response. It started in the morning twice but it was a long dragging start instead of the usual quick start. Any idea what the problem might be.??

Thanks
shene

I own a Toyota Corolla 1994 automatic transmission, I am having problems with the transmission, the overdrive light is flashing and it is shiffing down frequently like there is no power. I change the speed sensor but it did not help.

If someone had a similar problems and know how to fix, please let me know

Did you ever get an answer? I am sure you have fixed this by now.

What year is it?

Probably a bad fuel pump or plugged filter, intake screen etc. or maybe bad fuel pump relay.

I have a 1992 ford Ranger 3.0 with A4LD automatic tranny that broke down on me. I got it rebuilt but they put servos for a 4.0 in it and said it would work fine.
My problem is now it hesitates then slams into reverse. Also when cold it revs to high rpm before shifting into second.  I can manually shift it perfect. My question is will the servos for a 4.0 engine cause this? Or what could be the cause of this? Please help thank you.

sound like you have trouble in direct drum and rubbers that seal of drum and center support, it may have already caused direct clutch failure or burning of clucth plate face material. I have never noticed reverse issue with servo piston size, but it does affect shift feel in second forth gear. typial a4ld trouble occurs on upshifts or lack of from metal in governor thats sounds like whats going on your second problem, will usally get better ater first few shifts occur and doesnt have trouble shifting till it sits with engine off for a coulpe of hours or over night.
