I have 4 2008 Nissan Quest SE PAX tires and wheels. They have less than 7k miles as my wife doesn't drive much. I am looking to sell all 4 of them, there is hardly a mark and the rubber still have the little spikes from when it was made. For more info and pics, please email me. I will ship anywhjere or meet around Southeastern Massachusetts. No resonable offers refused. Thanks.

TO ALL THE HONDA OWNERS. On JUNE 23, there was a Class Action settlement between Honda/Micheal PAX System Civil action # 8:08-md-01911-RWT. Anyone who has replaced the tires before 36000 miles can get reimburse on a porated basis OR get a Supplemental Warranty. You can get the information and download the claim form from WWW.SFMSLAW.COM
My 2006 Van has only 17000 miles and my two tires are almost bold. Delear is asking $900 to replace them and I came to this site to look for options and came to know that many of you do not know about this class action law suit settlement. Your deadline is January 2010 to submit your claims.

This is the second time I am having to replace my PAX tires. 68,xxx on 2006 touring odessey. A friend and Honda mechanic told me to run 38 psi on almost any Honda for better tire life. 38,000 first set (and they were 1/8 inch--almost-(bare of tread)less than I like before changing tires)now 30,000 on second set and they are at the wear markers- dealer says they do not pro-rate tires on these--JUST REPLACE THEM. The dealer says HONDA does not want u to replace them. Let me get this straight----who is paying for what here. Just logged on here about 2 hours ago and thank heaven someone had parts listed on spare tire size and bolt kits for wheel kit for space saver spare... After checking "tire rack.com" for 135/80-17, and finally having to call them to get the right size!!!135/80-17-- space saver tire--$121.00 plus shipping and I ordered one. Then ordered wheel 17" space saver disk/wheel and bolt down kit from my dealer here.. Last time it cost about $1400.00 to replace all 4 Michelin PAX tires. This time it will cost $1500.00 to replace wheels,80,000 mile Cooper tires ,Honda pressure sensors and to get a spare tire kit with tire, and mounting hardware with jack, bolts -kit. I was told changing the tires to regular tires will NOT void my extended Honda warranty as long as the tire are 102T rated for weight of vehicle, and great quality wheels. So this is what I am doing. The next time I need tire they will cost approx. $120.00 per tire for 1 (235-60-17);which is what comes on the 2009 Touring Odessey if you do not order the PAX system. When I sell the Odessey some time in the future I will put the PAX-w pressure sensors- tires back on the van and sell the other tires and wheels separately. The 1st 10,000 miles they ran confortable and then they rode hard even at the 35psi mark. Actually, as an original Touring Honda Odessey owner, I received a letter about a class action lawsuit about these tires, but could never get in contact with anyone listed on how to find out about the spare tire kit or ability to receive funds or rebate on the spare tire kit. I guess that was a scam too. The vehicle was pricy enough, alot more than my 2000 EX w Nav system, and except for the ECO,pretty good stereo, and the parking sensors; I am not sure it was worth the extra money,. Hope this helps someone else!!

Has anyone successfully gotten Michelin (or your Honda dealership) to truly replace a tire damaged by road hazard for "free"?
I've had two road hazard punctures, and each time I'm told that gel packs aren't included in the limited warranty. I've had to have multiple tires replaced, so this time I didn't take the Michelin customer service reps word for it---I went back and looked at the warranty and FAQ on MIchelin's PAX website.
The warranty says (quote): "If a Michelin PAX system tire becomes unserviceable due to...a road hazard injury during the first 24 months of service or before 50% of the tread is worn, whichever occurs first, Michelin will furnish a comparable replacement tire at NO CHARGE. No charge will be made for demounting, mounting and balancing, but the consumer will be responsible for paying any other service charges and applicable taxes".
The emphasis on NO CHARGE is not mine--it's in the warranty.
My issue is that Michelin claims the gel pack is not covered under the warranty, despite the fact that it's required in order to replace a tire. I guess they consider it a "service" to make the tire roadworthy??
What really ticks me off though is that the MIchelin customer service agents insisted that the warranty and website both explicitly state that gel packs are not included in the warranty coverage despite the fact that I was holding a copy of the warranty in my hands, and it makes absolutely no mention of gel packs anywhere. Apparently Michelin changed the wording in the limited warranty last fall to specifically exclude gel packs, and it is being applied retroactively to all owners of PAX tires. (By the way, I just checked. The warranty currently on the MIchelin PAX website doesn't mention ANYTHING about gel packs.)
If you've had your tires serviced under the PAX roadside hazard warranty, have you been subjected to this same junk fee?
Will
