Wondering if anyone knows anything about Lotus Elise? Read reviews and all said that it is a fun little roadster.

Haven't really looked at it too much....I'm not a huge fan of the body styling. The pricing isn't as high as I thought it would be. Check Lotus pricing here.

I've done some research and a lot of reading on the Elise. In general I think a misconception that many ppl get is that it's a car they can purchase as a daily driver. And really, it's not. It's a stripped down car with very little comfort or amenities, but incredible performance. And, it's SMALL. If you can't stand a harsh, bumpy ride or lots of road noise, or if you're too large of a person, this car is not for you. The Elise is for ppl who either want to track their car or just take it out on weekends. And for those purposes it is an awesome, incredibly fun car. Good luck getting one, there's a mean waiting list or if you don't want to wait, you have to pay big markup to get one.

Having driven this thing at Laguna Seca, it's as great as they say. Any sub-2,000-pound rear-drive car with a Celica engine in the middle has got to be fun. They already jacked up the price by a few thousand after just one year.
