Hi. I recently had an encounter with a large amount of water with my car (1990 Ford Probe, 2.2L 4-cylinder 5-spd, NOT turbo model). It was buried past the frame in water but i managed to get out. The car would then no longer stay running unless I kept the rpms unusually high. I managed to get it home, but the next day it wouldn't start. It turns over and sometimes even runs for a second or two before stalling. I thought it could bet the timing so I changed the timing belt and adjusted the timing. This didnt' make a difference. Any ideas as to what is wrong would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.
