GM will be releasing hybrid versions of its Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon either late next year or early 2008. Reports state they'll get a 25% increase in mpg.
Would you buy such a truck? At what price? Prices have not been stated but I suspect it'll be between $3k to $5k compared to the regular Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon.

Would you be able to get the same amount of power out of a hybrid as you would a normal truck?

well lets see, 25% better mileage. I am going to guess that a regular Yukon gets what about 12 mpg, so the hybrid will get 16? ok so every 1000 miles you will save right around 21 gallons of gas. 21 gallons of gas would be about 73 dollars at 3.50/gallon, so if we are looking at a 5 grand difference it will pay for itself in like 70K miles, sweet sign me up!!!
