When I put the car into forward gears it will drive, but as soon as I put it into reverse the engine dies. No noise is heard when it dies, it just quits. Any ideas?

I am *** it is an automatic tranny since you didn't say... Try disconnecting your lock up torque converter.

It is on the front side of the tranny it is a connector right behind the engine block or you could pull the TCC fuse

According to the book that came with the car there isnt a fuse for the tcc and I dont see any connectors on the front side of the tranny.
