I have a 95 Mercury Sable that has problems starting. It died on me so I replaced the fuel filter, it started, and then ran fine for a week. Then a few hrs later it would'nt start. But the next morning I went to check it out and it started right up. It has done this a few times to me. I then changed the plugs, wires, distributor cap, and rotor. I started it up, and 5 min later it stalled and it wont start again. The fuel pump is priming. Any thoughts on what might be going on here?

It just cranked over, so I went down the road to put some gas in it. Put it in park and it died yet again and wont start. I should have known better. I got out my scanner and got a code 519-(Power steering pressure switch circuit open)???

it sounds like your power steering circut code and your stalling problem are more then likely not related.
When you do get it started, does it sputter at all?
