98 chev truck. Having trouble starting. Noticed security light staying on. Will start sometime today. Any way of bipassing this device. Trouble all week.

Get a new key cut at the dealer for it.

I turned truck engine over. Left key on, maybe 10 minutes, security light went out, turned key to off, waited 10 seconds, light blinked few times, turned key on and truck started. Its been 5 days so far. Must have reset something.
