I have a 1993 Dodge Dakota V8 5.2L, the issue is upon stopping at a light the engine drops RPM to 200PRM to 300RPM and stays but doesn't run erractic, just worries me some day it may stall running this low.Is this normal, if not what possible faults would lead to correction?Thank you DakotaBloor
it sounds like your idle air motor, which if i remember correctly is a common problem for these cars.
It might also be a guage problem. Try taking it to a shop and plug in a computer that is able to do real time reads.
