Saturday May 13 around 6:00 Pm I was driving home from LA on the 5 south.  I was in the far left lane (not the carpool lane) traffic was slow.  Following at a safe distance behind the 1999 Lexus RX300 in front of me I see him step on the brakes and slow down quickly.  I also step on my brakes not to worried that my car would be able to stop.  As I’m almost at a stop I notice in my rearview mirror that the person behind me might not be able to stop in time.  So having some room left between me and the car in front of me, I let off the brake and move forward to allow the guy behind me the maximum amount of space to stop.  After inching forward, I hear his brakes start to squeal and before I knew it I felt my car jerk forwards and right underneath the Lexus RX300 in front of me.  As I am looking at my hood which is half way up my windshield, my passenger leans out the window and starts screaming.  This catches my attention and I also look over to see the guy who hit and pushed me into the car in front of me speeding away.  I didn’t have enough time to get the plates but my passenger though he did.  We wrote down what he though he saw but unfortunately the police said it was an invalid plate number.  He was driving a older early 90's or late 80's Honda Accord.  It was a dark gold almost brown color.  Unsure of his ethnicity but he had a Latino or Mexican complexion.

Any how i am out a car for a while.  This is the second time someone has hit my car an ran in Califoria.  People are *** sometimes.

sorry to hear about your car man, but the important thing is you and your passenger are OK. I have been in several accidents and they always suck. Sorry to hear the guy ran, but eventually the karma wheel will swing around and the guy will get whats coming to him. Keep us updated on the progress of your car.

Oh whats the fastest kind of car in the world? A rent a car of coarse. You haven't had fun until you have caught air rallying Pontiac Gran Prix. Oh yeah, Olds Achievas don't handle nearly as well off road and develop a squeak behind the dask after just a few miles in large gravel.
