We are working on a 2000 Jeep Cherokee 4.0 The computer codes are coming up as a TPS sensor -high voltage (3.8 volts, engine load 80%) We tested the TPS and it was fine, but replaced it anyway- same thing Then we decided that it was probably the Computer, we got a used computer and that isn't it either. When the scanner is looking through the transmission the TPS is working properly. When tested manually the TPS sensor is also within range. What could be causing the computer to read the TPS wrong?
Any suggestions?
