I have owned a few:
A1 GTI - turboed it, built as a race car, never raced but man was it fun around my neighborhood.
A1 Cabriolet - it was free, and as any car guy can tell you, ther is no such thing as a free car.
A2 GTI - Probably my favorite VW, it was more fun than 95% of all the other cars I have ever driven.
A3 Cabrio - not actually mine but I probably put 20k miles on it during its life time. Slow as death, handled decent after suspension mods, but I am not really a convertible kind of guy.
A4 Beetle 1.8t - nice motor, very comfortable, handles much better now with suspension and tires, it does everything it's supposed to do.
B4 Passat - surprised a lot of BMW drivers on the race track with that car. Suspension set up was perfect, I miss it but it was never the same after the accident and I traded it in on the 911, so that was definitely a step up.
Well I have owned 5, my brother recently got rid of his Jetta VR6, My parents have had 3 currently only have 2, my sister and brother-in-law have owned something like 6 between the two of them and I have always hung around VW people.

if u knew anythin about vw's..(which now i know u dont)...u would know that MKIV means the generation of VW's made from 1999-2004...u learn somethin everyday huh?
