Apparently Nissan North America Inc. is recalling nearly 200,000 cars and crossovers. A common pollutant in the air causes the vehicles' fuel filler hoses to crack and leak.

The hoses were not built properly and are prone to crack from exposure to ozone, Nissan told the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The recall involves 2003 - 06 Infiniti FX35 and FX45 crossovers and 2003 - 04 Infiniti G35 and Nissan 350Z cars. Dealers are to replace the hoses.

This was just brought to my attention and frankly i am getting a little upset with all the down time my car has seem at the dealer.

I have 20,000 miles on the car and already its been in for a faulty window motor, a radio that stopped working new brakes which also lead to turning the rotors. New rear tires and alignment, and just when I thought I had seen the light of day, at least for a little, this is brought to my attention.

What the hell.  Sorry, just needed to vent.  Real nice for my first pot on these forums huh.  

I keep telling everone these cars are, in general, crap.  So many corners cut.  They give you a warrenty on your brakes for 40,000 or 60,000 miles I belive just because so many people were compaling about abnormal break wear.  Well sure thats good for now, what happens when your warrenty is up and you are continously changing pads and rotors almost every twenty thousand miles?  Your window motor and radio are just one of the many that are going to go.. I've replaced mutiple motors and failed radios while working at infinit.
