Wife loves the new Pilot; but hates the audio.  You would think with 7 speakers, sub, and 155 watts, Honda could have done a better job, like the Acura's sound system....(which is awsom!)

Does anyone have suggestions short of adding "boom box" speakers, new radio, amp, etc... I would like to use existing radio if possible along with existing speaker box's.  I wonder if just changing out the speakers would improve the sound...

Solved problem with 4 new 6", 3-way Alpine speakers.  Radio sounds fantastic, even though I'm out $200~ it was worth it.  Now dealing with sub-woffer vibration noise in rear housing; need to either replace or insulate with foam.  Any experience here is appreciated from other Pilot owners.

Also, road noise very bad with stock GoodYear Integrity tires, but only had 17K miles and lots of tread.  We had nail in side wall so had to replace at least one.  Discount Tires gave me trade in value $30/ each plus matched Costco pricing and $60 rebate, so we replaced with Michelin this week- night and day difference in noise, ride, and handeling.  Wouldn't believe the Michelins made that much difference, but they do.
