Hello! I have a 2001 Kia Sephia LS. Check engine light came on, car place tested it, I forget the code--it was for the coolant temperature sensor and thermostat. Fixed both, drove the car out. transmission slipped, fan on all the time. Shortly thereafter Check engine came on again, brought it back, checked the code, this time it said PO 713 (Transmission Temp Sensor). Left the car with them...probably not too smart...They tried a couple of things, decided the coolant temp sensor was faulty. They replaced free of charge. 6 miles out of the gate, guess what? Yes, the check engine light came on. This time it came up with PO713 (Trans temp sensor) AND a new one...P1624 (MIL request circuit malfunction). Someone please help me. Could these be interrelated, it seems like once they changed the sensor everything went to pot. I mean seriously this car has been a dream (except for a couple gas caps ) It only has 37,000 miles on it. Come on! Any imput would be truly appreciated.
