1. Toyota recently issued a recall to those who own Highlanders between 1999-2001 with oil gel/sludge problems.

What were the main components changed for those of you who have taken your vehicles in for repair?

Did anyone have their oxygen sensors replaced as a result of oil sludge?

2.  Is anyone experiencing noises in their transmission (like a kick-back) when they are decelerating or coming to a stop?  I put in some transmission fluid to see if this would alleviate any sticking in the transmission case.  I have noticed a slight improvement.  But, there is still a slight "kick back" during down shifting.  Please advise.
