I drive a 2001 Volvo S80. It is key-activated because I never received a remote from the previous owner. About 15 minutes after I lock the doors with the key, the alarm goes off and the 4 blinkers start blinking. The alarm is very silent, though. You can barely hear it. Sometime this happens once, and sometimes it stops and goes off after 5 minutes and on and on. The message I get when I start my car is "alarm triggered check car". After I get this message, the driver seat, only, won't adjust and the sunroof won't slide. Thanks a million.

i guess its time for you to replace a new one..it didn't work well because of the quality of alarm you bought.try to find a better one.they're a lot out there..try to visit the ebay. if you opt to purchase online, you might want to check volvo Accessories http://www.swedishpartsshop.com/volvoaccessories.html they give almost 50% off the market.

yup, just change the alarm, get one of those with the autostart function where you can start the car from your bedroom window and let it warm up before steping out in the snow
