I was driving down the highway the other day and the van just died and would not restart. I have checked the trouble codes and got the fuel pump low voltage code and a code 38 which I cannot find in my manual. I figured the fuel pump code could have been because I killed the battery trying to restart the thing. I checked the spark and there is spark. I can hear the fuel pump when I turn on the ignition. I can smell gas when I take off the air filer and turn the car over. Any ideas??

so you got the code after trying to restart the car? Or did you get it once your car died?

I only checked the codes after I had already tried to restart it many times. I believe the cam position sensor is only on the "W" VIN engines.
