Intermittingly, my Expedition will not start or turn over the engine.  When I attempt to start, all lights and other electrical items come on, but the engine will not turn over or click or anything.  I replaced the starter solenoid on the firewall under the hood and it worked for about a week and now has the problem again.  Whenever this happens I can cross connect the poles on the solenoid with the ignition switch in the on position and it will start right up.  Any suggestions on what could be the problem?  Thanks  

Try the switch at the key.
