I have had problems starting my car a second time after I shut it off while it's cold. For instance, it will start up in the parking lot of my apartment just fine, but when I turn it off at the gas station on the corner (1/4 mile away), it wont start again. It doesn't even try to crank, it just doesnt do anything. This has happened three times now, but only on cold mornings. All three times I have sat with the key in the accessory position for about 10 minutes, and then it finally starts up a again. I just had the battery replaced about a month ago, so I think it is something else, but I'm not sure what...maybe the starter or alternator? However if I drive the car for a bit and let the engine warm up, it starts right up on the second try. I have never had a problem with it starting on the first try, only the second. I live in Atlanta, GA so it really isn't even that cold. Any help would be great. My car is a 1992 Toyota Camry.
