I just bought a 1993 Pontiac Sunbird and I ask the previous owner if everything work and he said that yeah. I trusted him and didn't check everything. Stupid choice (hey, it's my first car)!!! Come to find out that there were some problems with it.
1. The turn signals don't work, it doesn't even make the clicking noise. Not sure why! I checked the fuse and it wasn't blown. The isn't any fog lights, but wires hanging out where they should be. Would that affect the turn signals?
2. The dash lights and clock/radio lights don't light up when you turn on the headlights. The only thing that lights up is the brights light on the dash. Also checked the fuse and it wasn't blown.
3. The car shakes on the right front if drive too fast. Can't drive safely over 55 mph. I think that it's the CV joint, but I'm not sure.
Can you help me out? Thanks

turn signal problem could be a bad flasher unit. Its under the dash board on your side. Most of the lights are probably burned out-- including inside the dasboard--need replacement. #3 could be anything--your going to have to take it to a mechanic. As for the other piddling stuff you can link up to Autozone.com on thier website. You just punch in you model car and start looking up the free repair advice for the car like changing bulbs for the dash.
