I don't know if by "rep" you mean dealer or someone higher up the corporate food chain, but, I've determined on several occasions with both American and foreign car makes that the dealers often are clueless when it comes to possible new models or coming changes to existing models. Specifically I've found that to be true with Chevy, BMW and Honda dealers I have visited. Usually with just information from leading car magazines I know substantially more about their possible new vehicles or coming changes to existing vehciles than they know. I also get the feeling often in those situations that they could also care less. For example, I've never had a dealer offer to try to find information for me. One big exception to this experience has been any Porsche dealer I visited. However, I do hope the new Supra is out by next fall and has 350 hp in the soft-top model. I'll be seriously looking for a two-seater then and would find such a Supra very interesting.......as opposed to the Vette that has great power, for significantly more money, but the typical fit/finish issues.
