Where is the Transmission Fluid check level dip stick?

Check your owners manual. It should show or tell you where it is. If not call a Cadillac dealer and ask for the service manager. He should know.

What transmission is in a Catera? If its a 4T40E or a 4T45E, then it doesnt have a dipstick/filler tube. You check the fluid from under the car, engine running, hot, remove a certain case plug near the passenger side axle, and fill untill it dribbles out.
