* Any experience in exchanging the Bosch starter?

* Does the starter gear shaft need a bushing in the bell housing?


* My first replacement starter lasted only 4 months.

* Upon inspection I noticed that an bushing could be missing to support    the shaft. I am not sure.

No info in my two manuals.
