temps dropped and car was difficult to start. Once it started ran fine. Today, while driving the voltmeter was wavering up and down and eventually the car stalled. Wouldn't start again. Oddly enough, lights, radio, blower motor all worked when the key was in the on position yet the voltmeter read O. Only when I turned the key to start the car did i get a reading from the voltmeter on the dash which read more than adequate battery juice to start the car. Since the priming unit (ie i think the fuel pump pulsator) was working intermittently and the electrical system was funky, i replace the ecm module. This did nothing. the battery and the alternator tested fine. any suggestions.

You may need to check fuseable links &/or all connections at the starter. This is typically where most accessories including ECM, get their power harnessed from.
