Well my brother has a CRX that won't start. this is what he had told me. As he was cruising down on the high way around 50mph when all of a sudden his start decelerating quick. What i mean is his car went down to a stop. he told me that he try pressing the gas pedal and it's no good, he said that the pedal was like butter had no resistance. he tried down shifting and it did no good either. We got the car home and the engine cranks over but won't start. I check the injectors and come out at 4.5 ohms each. i checked the fuel pump by listening to it when i turned the key, it's working. i check the fuses below the driver side and there all good except the radio fuse blew. i also check the fuses in the engine by the passenger and they are also good. i change the starter and still the same problem. can someone tell me what to do?!!!!!1

Yes for sure i know i have spark because while i told my brother to crank the engine over i remove every since spark plug wire one by one to see if the is spark and yes there is. Does it matter if my brother used Bosch brand spark plugs. Well i don't have a fuel pressure regulator tester. but what i did was remove the fuel pressure regulator hose not the vacuum hose that also connect to it, but anyways fuel did drip out of the hose and then cranked the engine over and a huge load of gasoline came out of the fuel regulator. If you mean that the timing belt broke i'm not sure right now but i check it out tomorrow. i doubt it did because i recently change it less than 2000 miles ago.

I just figured out the problem. i went to go doublee check if there was spark and fortunely enough there was spark then there wasn't. then again there was spark then no spark. so i checked the distorbutor cap and it was loose as well as the rotor. Well thanks for the help. ASE master technician L1
