Dear Sirs,
I am very displeased both with my kia and the service your company provides. I have had my car for less than a year and it has proven to be a poor purchase. I brought my car in “again” to get fixed two weeks ago. I was told the fuel pump had gone out. After a week they said they fixed the fuel pump, then they said they must have been wrong because a relay now did not work. After fixing that they said my car was ready. I picked up the car and smelled an overwhelming gas odor. I chalked this up to a mechanic being in the car and was so happy after being inconvenienced for a week that I was just happy to have my wheels back. I drove the car to school a couple times and then to the mall for some Christmas shopping. The smell was still there but I thought it was going to go away. Upon leaving the mall last night the car had trouble starting. The gas small was a lot worse and I opened my door. As the car turned over I heard a trickle outside the car. I got out and realized the pool of water my car was sitting in was really a pool of gasoline. I had been driving around for days leaking gasoline! I call the service department and they tell me not to drive the car, no kidding! Its dangerous, no kidding. I realize that I almost died a horrible and painful death because the mechanic at your company failed twice at putting in a simple fuel pump. I think its obvious now they wired the thing wrong the first time and blew the relay themselves and now my life has almost been compromised. I think I need not mention the fact the gas was leaking all over the exhaust pipes or the numerous ways a spark may have changed my evening last night. Your policy seems to be no loaner. I am greatly inconvenienced and almost negligently killed by you people and now I am without a car again. If only I had not paid cash for this lemon. I wish I had taken a loan on this car, I would let the thing go back and be in a much better position. The service guy offered the roadside assistance to tow my car to the service department, but no vehicle for me to get on with my life. I am not going to use your service department. Monday morning I am going to have my car towed and my own expense and fixed at my own expense, make sure they document what they find in detail and go to my lawyer with my problem. I have never been so disappointed in a purchase or appalled at the irony in a so called “service” department. I will blog my experience  and tell anyone who will listen what I think of the quality of kia vehicles and the lackluster approach at service undertaken by what is obviously not a consumer friendly company. All that I want is a way to get to work and school. This “mechanical” problem should not be my problem and if I could I would give this lemon back.

For the people who read this and need to express their distaste about a vehicle or service go to www.ripoffreport.com

They have a system where you can express your opinion and the manufacturers have a good chance of seeing it. It is good to post it here and the rip off report is another place.
