Hello Gents,
I currently have a problem with alarm on my JGC 2000 Laredo. Alarm goes off about 30 seconds after I use the keyless entry to lock the doors. I've done a bit of troubleshooting, and realized that the on board computer says the boot is not closed, while it's closed. I took it to the dealer and he couldn't fix. Can anyone tell me where the sensor is? and how I can change it? Or just let me know how I can fix the car?
I'm in Africa and there is not many people knowing this car. I usually buy parts in the States or Europe and fix the car myself.
Thanks for your attention

How do I fix the problem?

replace your liftgate latch, the sensor is part of the latch
