Hello Forum,
Has anyone had these problems with their Grand Cherokee Ltds. First my check engine light came on for a couple days and then went out,only to come on again and stay on. Then(diffrent day) I heard a clicking sound and the radio goes out.I had to disconnect the radio and reconnect it to get it to work. And last but not least there's this sound I think it's coming from under the dash. It sounds like something shifting around,and that sound has been there since I got the SUV. If anyone can help it would be a great help.

Are you getting any codes or have you checked your code(s)? Turn the ignition key until the digital odometer displays, repeat three times in succession and then back to "On" (On/Off, On/Off, On/Off, On). At the fourth "On" the odometer will be replaced with codes. If no codes are present then "Done" will appear. Once you have your code(s), go to http://www.wjjeeps.com/faultcodes.htm

My check-engine light came on in my '01 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 20+ miles from home and my cell phone isn't working. Since I am not a mechanic, I needed to find out if it was safe to drive. Now I know what to tell my mechanic ... Thank you Johnnymayhem so much for this very helpful suggestion.
