Code P0755 solenoid "B" car won't go into low gear. Arrow blinks and S and W blink on console. Can this be repaired? Volvo wants 4K for new transmission. Any help would be appreciated.

First get the transmission control checked out. Have a mechanic run diagnostics on the vehicle and see if there is a problem. It's best to have it checked out for a few bucks and risk transmission damage which starts in the hundred of dollars.
