This car has a new water pump (3000 miles ago--new not rebuilt),new thermostat (195degree),belt,new radiator cap,and new coolant. When car is driven at full operating temp, it wavers from @ 195 to 220 degrees. Temp guage used to be very steady at 190 degrees and NEVER moved or vasilated. I have reverse flushed system, and preasure tested it--holds preasure perfectly. With cap off radiator, there are no bubbles that I can see and car idles and runs fine. Any ideas ? Is there a fan switch and if so , where is it? Auxilary fan is comming on at 220 degrees. With A/C on, cools down (fans are running). Tested radiator with rayvac infrared temp tool and found radiator temp pretty consistant.
