I have a Suzuki vitara jlx 1.6 1992 It has been stored in the open for some time. I went to take it in for mot but found the drivers rear wheel is "siezed solid"I slacked up the hand brake cables thinking it was a case of cable siezure but no luck. I removed the wheel and tried to remove the drum. Could,nt see any c,sunk screws as on most cars. I notice there is a flange in the centre of the hub which could be holding the drumso I removed the 4 nuts and tried hammering the drum with no success. I realise that it could be rust between the brake shoes and the drum. It could also be a transmission sieze up. I see in the manual there are some models which have brake release items behind the drum so I will look for those tomorrow. I think I will try heating the drum with a blowlamp maybe the drum will expand enough to free it Has any one any suggestions? Any help would be apreciated. Stan
