Hi Everyone,
I've searched several Lexus forums on the internet but I couldn't seem to find a known case of my issue. I recently had a new battery installed in my 2004 Lexus RX300. After the battery was changed, the windows didn't work. To my surprise, three of four them started working again and they are ok now. I have 1 back seat window and a sun roof that is not operational. I had to "manually" close the sun roof (it's still not seated properly).
I would take it back to Lexus, but I have 50,500 hundred miles and the dealer wanted to charge me! What could be causing this? Is there a 'master reset' to the car? Could the window pressure sensors be causing this? I'm really at a loss... please help :-(
Frustrated,
Howard

Are the battery terminals tight? An unusual problem! You may have to tak it to an electrical repair auto shop for an electrical check-out.

You probably figured this by now, but if not:
There is a small lockout button on the right-side (drivers-side) door that prevents opening/closing of all windows except the drivers's side window. Just depress that once to release it.
If that doesn't help, you might have an intermittent battery connection. Doubtful, if you car starts up and runs.
