i have a 1990 jeep wrangler. when i'm driving it feels like i am getting a gas cut off. when it does that, i try to accelerate and nothing happens but the jeep is still running. but it eventually stalls. does anyone know what that could be? I think it might be someting to do with the TBI. but i can't find anything wrong with it.

Could be the fuel filter needs changing. If its been moer than 30,000 miles since done, you might try that. Probalby should take it in for a diagnosis. It could be a lot of things.

This one drove me nuts too.. I had one come into the shop with the 4.0 and it did the same thing. Everything under the hood was new or replaced by other garages, except the O2 sensor which souldn't have made that much of a difference but it did....Try unplugging it to keep the computer in open loop and see if your problem goes away.If it does then replace the O2 sensor. It it doesn't keep looking, but it didn't cost you anything to try except 5 mins to unplug the wire to the sensor.
