Hello all,

I've got a 2000 Chrysler Cirrus LXI (the V6 engine) and have recently encountered some issues with the engine dying or failing to start.

I've had several instances where the car will turn over for about 5-10 seconds and won't start.  I'll give it about 30 seconds to 'rest', then turn it over again... each time it has started up from there.  The battery is strong, no engine lights are on, so I'm at a loss there.

I've had another few instances where I'll be driving the car at highway speed and the engine will die, the RPM's will start to come down, and the engine starts back up.  Another situation is where I've been stopped at a light idling and the engine will just die without warning.

All of these issues have come around in the past week or so, possibly around the time I got my last full tank of gas.  I wouldn't think a bad tank of gas would cause these types of intermittent issues, so I'm thinking it is something else.  As I mentioned, no check engine lights have come on, nothing.

If you got fuel pressure gauge it check that first. If not try replacing fuel filter and go from there.  

I went ahead and took it to the local Chrysler/Jeep dealer, should hear something back soon enough with a diagnosis.  Thanks!
