Do the lights on the switch change from 2wd to 4wd? Does the indicator come on the dash?....Does the switch motor functionas it should? Are there any DTCs set, What does the 4WD module say the position of the motor is when 4WD switch is pushed?

Hi, have the same problem just popped up the other day. So far checked inside fuse and outside fuse. Both OK. 4X4 light doesn't come on in the dash - definitely no 4X4 action when switched to on.
How do I check the swich motor function?
I can check the DTC's have a computer readout - will advise.
How do I tell what the 4WD module is saying the position of the shift is in?
Thanks,
Douglas

Another piece of information,
The transmission may have gotten shifted into 4X4 while the rear wheels were slipping at idle on some ice.
Would this help diagnose the problem. Like it gets into some sort of lock out situation that has to be manually reset.
Thanks,
