I have a 2002 Mazda Tribute.  After the the day of heavy rain we had here in NY yesterday the engine revs up when the car is in park or at a stoplight.  I sometimes have to press harder than normal on the break at a stoplight because the engine revs up and inches the car forward.  I remember my old VW used to do that after rain.  Please help.  

Are there any DTCs set? What does the TPS read, are there any vaccume leaks...is the trottle plate stuck?
