Today, I was driving around 70 mph when the car kicked and the engine light came on. It drove home the rest of the way fine. The car has 53K miles on it and has never had a problem. I have never had the trans fluid changed, which is clearly overdue. I'm taking it to a dealer service tomorrow and hoping to get some pre-mechanic thoughts on potential issues so I can be prepared. In site-surfing, it sounds like it may just need a fluid flush and possibly some computer training/upgrades. Any thoughts on any of this?
