93 Nissan Maxima Transmission

While accelerating, the transmission felt like it skipped and then I lost all drive power.  I turned the car off and then restarted it and now I can put it into gear but there is no drive in any of the drives or reverse.  The car is an automatic and I have not had any prior problems.
